It really is how these math parties feel to me too and I’m so much more comfortable. If only physicists were more like this and less like “lets go cazy, man!” which is the dominant response I have seen. Then I just sit there feeling awkward until someone else nerdy like me comes along and then we go play set together! I suppose it is just some attractive force between nerds.

I thought they just started awkward and stayed awkward….
