The winner!
Congratulations to Jim Vaught, whose caption is featured above. Mr. Vaught, you’ll be receiving an email from me requesting your address so I can mail you a copy of the comic.
The Courtney’s Choice Award goes to Telum, whose caption appears on the comic found here: Nobody knows…
And, in my book, everyone’s a winner. So feel free to print the uncaptioned comic and feature your own brilliant humor at your desk: You get a caption! You get a caption! Everybody gets a caption!

I’m supposing by contradiction it didn’t. Now what?
The suspense is killing me!

Raijinili, dat was the punchline… you see most vector problem proofs rely on contradiction to prove the point… anyway i ain’t much of a math whiz but i laughed outright!
