About Brown Sharpie: Brown Sharpie was a comic drawn by Courtney Gibbons, an aspiring mathematician with a passion for her brown sharpie. The comics came from her undergraduate and graduate math notebooks, her dreams, and her conversations with other math nerds.
Occasionally, Courtney asked some of her friends to share their strange brand of math comic. You’ll note that guest contributors used non-brown sharpie. Courtney has sharing issues.
Brown Sharpie updated for 3 or so years before fizzling out. The archives remain for your viewing pleasure.
About Courtney: Courtney is a 5th year graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has a boyfriend and some cats. When she’s not doing math, she’s worried about doing math (or drinking coffee and worrying about doing math).
