YAY! I wondered if I was the only one to use this analogy. I teach AP Calc to high school kids and talk about imaginary numbers and infinity to be as real objects as dragons and unicorns, so when we have a limit that results in “infinity over infinity” we may as well be saying “dragon divided by unicorn.”
Wait… Wouldn’t the product of two unicorns be another unicorn with a mixture of their inheritable characteristics?… Or possibly … the AntiHorse, Annihilator of horses!
It seems that unicorn^2 would be the other end of the real horse….
