Calculus Accumulation
All this because my husband just saw the dentist, who told him he had some calculus on his teeth–it’s a fancy way of saying “plaque buildup.” He came home and proudly told me he had a comic idea for me. Josh, are you assuming the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus to take the derivative of the teeth?
Someone in my first calc class brought in a dentistry article about how calculus can cause cancer. The slogan quickly became our catch all excuse for laziness.
The principle resolution for excessive calculus is planing. Really.
