What do you get when you cross an elephant and a rhinoceros?
Use this as a follow-up to your favorite math “what do you get when you cross” jokes. They’ll never see it coming!
Okay, well, they might now.

you get pairs (x,y) where x in elephant and y in rhino =D
I can’t tell if this is so tongue-in-cheek that it comes full-circle.. For the uninitiated, this type of joke came first (elephant crossed with rhino = eleph-ino, e.g. HellifIknow). Another one: “what do you call a blind doe?” “A no-eyed deer” (I have no idea).
Then came the math jokes where instead of the obvious answer that everyone knows, you say “Elephant Rhino Sin Theta”. (Cross product)
XKCD made this joke way back in the beginning in another way, by intentionally getting the punchline wrong http://www.xkcd.com/28/
Don’t you mean “elefino”? Or at least “‘ell if I know”? I’m never sure how to spell these things.
Why does the rhino look sad? :(
He’s being crossed!
All I know is that you should never cross an angry elephant, I had a friend that did once and now She’d di if I mension it again.
you get IelephantI*IRhinoI*sin(theta).
Isnt this the exact same joke as this xkcd strip?
